Dr. Tom Hughes

Dr Tom Hughes is a graduate of the School of Dental Science at Trinity College, Dublin, having qualified in December 1984.

Having spent ten years in private practice in London and Brighton, he returned to Malahide in December 1994 and set up a new practice at Marine Court. He has constantly kept up with international advancements in dentistry with continuing education programs at Dublin Dental School, Eastman Dental Institute, and Guy's Dental Hospital in London.

Tom has a keen interest in all aspects of comprehensive dentistry, particularly Implant Dentistry, Endodontics (Root Canals), Cosmetic Veneers, Crown & Bridge restorations, Tooth Whitening, Paediatric Dentistry, and Nitrous Oxide Relative Analgesia Sedation.

His vision for modern dental care culminated in the setup of our state-of-the-art premises, Malahide Dental Clinic. The clinic is equipped with brand-new on-site Digital Radiography, Cone Beam 3D Scanning, and climate-controlled surgery suites directly behind St. Sylvester's Church.

Tom is an active member of the Irish Dental Association (IDA) and has proudly served the Malahide community and North Dublin for over three decades.
